Unlocking Hellhound

Hellhound is unlockable with 1000 event-limited Summoning Stones. Extra Summoning Stones can be used to upgrade Hellhound's star rating for a cost of 1000 * (next tier) stones.

Hellhound (2)

Hellhound (3)

Summoning Stones can be obtained through four methods during events:

  1. Dropped from Treasure Knome enemies: 1-5 Stones each, depending on Map
  2. Bought from Seller at rates of 100 coins per Stone, up to 10 at a time
  3. Reward for watching an ad from the Monitor: 10 Summoning Stones each (20, with 2x Monitor bonuses)
  4. Bought using real money in packs of 1000 or 2000 Stones

Mechanics

Hellhound summons a flaming fist from the ground dealing fire damage to enemies in an area . Hellhound has a range of 1.5 rock-lengths, and a fast attack.

Hellhound (4)

Hellhound (5)

Hellhound's special power is Boosting Flames providing a permanent x% attack buff to all adjacent monsters. The percentage of damage boosted is the same as Mighty's when both are at one bronze star and the same level. However, Hellhound’s star bonus effects his special power differently than Mighty, with his special power being boosted by the same percentage as his normal attack(2,400% at 3 gold stars), making him buff by 50,875% when he is at level 400 with 3 gold stars, though this boost seems to be invisible, compared to Mighty’s boost of 3663% at level 400 with 3 gold stars, making him the best special monster in the game. Also, unlike Mighty, Hellhound has an additional AoE damage output. However, it is incredibly expensive to level Hellhound in comparison to Mighty with an additional 500 coins needed to upgrade Hellhound per level. He is still recommended to be the first expensive monster you should upgrade.

Evolution

Hellhound (6)

Hellhound can be evolved into Ifrit for 25,000 Fire Gems, multiplying his base damage by 60. Hellhound's upgrade costs change when he evolves, costing a total of 29,038,500 Gold to get from level 1 to level 400. Because of his unique cost pattern, evolving Hellhound at level 295 or below will save money, but evolving him at level 296 or higher will increase total costs.

Ifrit's upgrade cost pattern is as follows: 250 * (current level) at levels 1-299, 10 + 510 * (current level) at levels 300-398, and 204,000 at level 399.
