Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals—Gives you tools to aid teaching and learning, such as Classroom, Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Forms, and Google Chat. Google Workspace for Education Standard—Same tools as Education Fundamentals but with advanced security features and enhanced administration controls.

Does my organization qualify? To qualify for Google Workspace for Education, K–12 and higher institutions must be a government-recognized, formally-accredited institution delivering nationally or internationally-approved certifications at primary, secondary, or third level.

If your school is using G Suite for Education today, you don't have to take any action to transition to Education Fundamentals. All customers who have purchased G Suite Enterprise for Education will receive new features and functionality that are released to the new Google Workspace for Education editions.

How do I get out of Google Workspace for Education? ›

Click on your Google Workspace for Education subscription. Click on Cancel subscription to cancel your current subscription. Proceed to subscribe to a Google Workspace Business paid subscription. Navigate to Billing > Get more services in the Admin console.

Drive upload & copy limits

You can upload and synchronize files up to 5 TB in size. Only the first file that breaks the limit completes uploading. Files larger than 750 GB can't be copied.
