Best Seats For a Concert at Gillette Stadium
The most common seating layout at Gillette Stadium for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 115, Section 116 and Section 117. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Field: Sections Field A1, Field A2, Field A3 and Field A4 are Field Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, field sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the field layout and the views from each field section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 112, Section 113 and Section 128. The view is not head-on like on the field, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 140, Section 141, Section 142 and Section 143 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 115, Section 116, Section 117 and Section 118. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider field seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst field ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 105 and 136 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 312 and 329.

Lower Level Side (Concert) Seating
It will be difficult to find a better seat than some of the top options in the Lower Level Side sections for a performance featuring a traditional setup at Gillette Stadium. Seats on the field might get you closer, but in the lower level side you get the advantages of better seating height to the elevated stage, and the feel of a permanent seats.
Among the best here are sections 112 and 129 for a show with the typical end stage configuration, which feel close to the action while still having a good viewing angle to the center of the stage. Seats in sections 113-114 and 127-128 are also very close, however you will begin to have more of a side stage view here, especially in the higher numbered seats of section 114 and the lower numbered seats of section 127.
Most sections here have 37 numbered rows of seating, with row 1 being located closest to field level. The lower numbered rows therefore get you closer to the performance, but it is important to note that the concourse entry is located at the very top of the section, leaving you with long walks for trips tot he restrooms and concession stands. For a well-rounded outing, we recommend compromising and go with a middle row (15-25) which provides a good viewing height and prevents a monster 30 row walk to and from the seats.
Upper Level Side (Concert) Seating
If you are looking for a more affordable ticket option for an end stage performance at Gillette Stadium, the Upper Level Side sections offer some decent options at a fraction of the cost of a lower level seat.
The very best of the seats here for a traditional configuration are found in the lower rows of sections 311-312 and 329-330, where the proximity to the stage helps curb some of the deflation of being so high up in the stadium. It is important to stick to rows 7 and lower whenever possible, as the sections here are split into a lower and upper portion by a set of stairs. The upper portion begins at row 8 and feels much higher and further due to the additional set of stairs you need to climb from the upper level concourse. Rows 1-7 have a much closer feel to the performance, and also keep you near the conveniences of the concourse.
If you find yourself searching in sections any further north (further from the stage) than section 308 or 333 for a traditionally configured performance, we recommend just opting for the best priced ticket you can find in rows 7 and lower as the views will feel far no matter what.
Sections on the Upper Level Side run as high as row 26 at the very top, with rows 8 and higher located above the concourse, and rows 7 and lower beneath.
Lower Level Corner (Football) Seating
Lower level corner seating is located between the sidelines and endzones on the closest tier to the field of play. Comprised of 13 total sections throughout the 4 corners of the lower level, fans will experience unique diagonal views of the action knowing that every seat in the stadium was designed to face the exact center of the playing field.
Close proximity to the action on the field provides a great seating choice for viewing scoring plays at the near endzone. Most sections in this location contain 35-38 numbered rows rows (starting with Row 1 being closest), except for section 116 which only has 19 rows running from 20-38 as is sits above a field level tunnel beneath.
Note that the aisle between sections 101 and 102 runs only halfway down to the field, so fans with low row numbered seats in this section might consider using the aisle between sections 102 and 103 to get to their row.
Lower Level Endzone (Football) Seating
Located just behind the endzones and on the closest level to the field of play is the lower level endzone. 4 sections behind the north endzone, and 6 sections behind the south endzone comprise this 10 total section location and offers unmatched proximity to scoring plays in the nearby endzone.
Sections in this location contain 36-38 numbered rows with Row 1 being closest to the field of play. See the action just as the players do from in front and behind the line of scrimmage at this lowest level seating location behind the north and south endzones.
Lower Level Sideline (Football) Seating
With a desirable location along the sidelines and on the closest tier to the field, Lower Level Sideline sections are home to some of the best seats at Gillette Stadium. Sections 108-111 draw particular attention from the home crowd as these seats are directly behind the New England bench and are as close to the 50 yard line as it gets, making them some of the best Patriots tickets in town.
On the opposite side, sections 130-133 are located behind the visiting team bench. Lower Level Sideline sections have between 35-38 numbered rows of seating, with as many as 23 seats in each row.
Upper Level Corner (Football) Seating
Upper Level Corner seating is located on the furthest tier from the field of play and between the sidelines and endzones. Unique diagonal views of the field of play from these sections, good views of the action in the nearby endzone, but viewing the opposite endzone may prove difficult.
There are 4 sections in the Northeast corner (301-304), 4 sections in the Northwest corner (337-340), 4 sections in the Southeast corner (315-318), most of which contain 26 rows in each section. The Southwest corner contains 4 sections with 26 rows (323-326) but also has 4 additional smaller sections with just 8 rows, which are located more towards the endzone 319-322).
Upper Level Sideline (Football) Seating
Located on the third and highest tier from the field of play, and running along the sidelines is the Upper Level sideline. Sections 305-314 on the east sideline (Patriots side) and Sections 327-336 (visiting side) comprise this 20 total section seating location that may be far from the action, but provides good lines of sight to all areas of the field from a sideline perspective.
Sections 309 and 310 are closest to the 50 yard line on the East side, Sections 331 and 332 are closest to the 50 yard line on the West side.
100 Level Endline (Soccer) Seating
Endline sections span from corner to corner in the 100 level at Gillette Stadium. Fans sitting in these sections will have great views when their action is on their side of the field. Most sections will have 38 rows except for sections 116-122 which will have just 21 due to the lounge below them.
On the north side is The Fort which is made up of several Revolution supporters groups. This area covers sections 141-143 where fans will stand, chant and wave flags all game long. Fans wanting a rowdy atmosphere can sit in or near these sections.
100 Level Sideline (Soccer) Seating
The lower level sideline sections are not just great for football games at Gillette Stadium, but soccer games as well. These seats will bring you close to the action and have some of the clearest views to the player's skills on the field.
Sideline sections have 38 rows each. To sit near the players benches look on the East side of the field. The Revolution bench is in front of sections 107 and 108 and the visiting team will be just on the other side of midfield by sections 111 and 112.
300 Level Endline (Soccer) Seating
The corner sections in the upper level at Gillette Stadium are the least desirable seats. However, some fans may find themselves sitting here due to the lower price of tickets. Most corner sections have 29 rows with rows 1-7 being below a walkway and rows 8 and above after the walkway.
For unique, smaller sections in this location look in sections 319-322. Each of these sections features only 7 rows and has better views than most seats in the location.
300 Level Sideline (Soccer) Seating
When open, the 300 level sideline sections offer good midfield views, although at a distance. To sit as close to midfield as possible, look in sections 309-310 or 331-332.
Not only are these upper level sections, but they are also some of the biggest in the stadium. Each section has 29 rows. The first 7 rows are much closer than rows 8-29 due to a walkway that enters at row 7.
Best Seats for Great Views of the Field
Although many of the top rated views for football games at Gillette Stadium come from being near midfield, there are a number of other factors which fans would be wise to take into consideration when searching for tickets. Finding a balance between viewing height and proximity to the field is important here, as is knowing which spots have great natural angles and which spots have potential pitfalls.
Being on the lower seating tier is always a great option for feeling close to the action, however just as it can be said for many other stadiums across the NFL, Gillette does have some less than ideal views in the very front seating rows. If you prefer to be on the 100 level and want to ensure a fantastic view, we recommend searching in rows 20 and higher across sections 107-112 and 129-134. The positioning between the 20 yard lines gives you those desirable sideline viewing angles, but more important is your seating height in the upper half of the section. Avoiding those lower rows allows you enough elevation to be able to see over the sidelines and have a clear view of the action on the field.
But if the lower level isn't a must for you, and there's a bit more money in the budget to spend on tickets, some of the best views in the house will be found on the second level in the Putnam Club sections near midfield. The viewing height from this seating deck is superb, allowing you to have phenomenal viewing angles to all areas of the field. We recommend opting for Club sections 8-11 and 30-33 as these will have you in prime position between the 30 yard lines. Avoid the front two rows if possible as the safety railing can impact your view, and instead search stick to rows 3-12 where the views will be near unbeatable.
While the Putnam Club won't be an option for all fans due to the higher price of a seat, you can still take advantage of that excellent viewing height in other non-premium seating sections on the second seating deck. Corner sections 203-204, 215-216, 225-26, and 237-238 are excellent spots to score a view not only due to the seating height, but also because of the angling of the seats themselves which have you pointed almost perfectly at midfield. The corner perspective allows you to grasp the range of movement both from sideline to sideline and endzone to endzone, while also providing a good angle to the videoboard at the far end of the field. Again you'll want to stick to rows 3-12 here (avoid the first two rows due to the safety railing in front), and also be sure to pass on sections 205, 214, 227, and 236 as there is an additional railing on the side that can cause obstructions in select seats.
Our last recommendation for a great view at Gillette Stadium are the seats in the last 10 rows of sections 118-122 above the south endzone. While you don't get that desirable sideline viewing perspective, what you do have is an incredibly comfortable spot with straight away sight lines to both the field and videoboard (no head turning needed at all). Being within 10 rows of the concourse also allows for quicker trips to and from the restrooms and concessions, leaving you more time in your seat to enjoy all the action on the field. As an additional bonus, these seats also have a very nice viewing angle to the stadium's iconic lighthouse and bridge at the far endzone.
As a final note, we would urge fans looking for a spectacular view to avoid any of the seats on the upper 300 level. While they are certainly some of the most affordable seats, they are incredibly high up and far from the action, and there are also a number of spots on this upper seating tier where the safety railings and partition glass can impact your view.

Best Seats for Impressing a Guest
For an impressive spot at Gillette Stadium for a Patriots football game, look no further than the premium Putnam Club seats located near midfield on their own private seating deck. Not only will you have spectacular sideline oriented views from an absolutely perfect viewing height, but you also get the great perks that comes with being a club seat ticket holder. The wider plush seats while watching the game are a very nice touch, and your guests are sure to appreciate the upscale environment of the luxurious club lounge which has top notch food and beverage options available for purchase. Entry tunnels are located at the top of the sections, so you'll just have to make a choice as to whether you prefer to have closer views in the lower rows, or shorter walks to and from the lounge in the upper rows. When searching for Putnam Club tickets, we recommend passing on sections 6, 13, 28, and 35 as the additional railings at the sides of these sections can create sub par views of the near endzone for select seats.
While you won't get the same red carpet treatment on the lower seating tier, the highly sought after 50 yard line views in sections 109-110 and 131-132 are another great spot for providing a memorable outing. Opt for seating rows 20 and up where the seating height creates optimal views, and your guests will be amazed by the perfect positioning for taking in a football game. Should the weather forecast be less than ideal, you can even find overhead coverage if you search further up in rows 34 and higher on the east sideline (sections 109 and 110). Pats fans will want to be in sections 109-110 where you are closer to the home team sideline, but if your guest is a supporter of the visiting team, opt instead for sections 131-132 on the west sideline.
One of the more unique options for an impressive gameday experience at Gillette Stadium is to purchase a pass to the Optum Field Lounge located just behind the south endzone. It is important to note that these passes will not get you entry into the stadium for the game (you still need to purchase a ticket elsewhere in the stadium!), however once inside the gates you can access this luxury lounge and stay for the whole the game if you desire. The lounge features a climate controlled indoor space decked out with numerous TVs, bars, and premium food and beverage for purchase, or you can head to the outdoor terrace which is right at field level and just behind the endzone! The Optum Lounge Club passes are difficult to come by, and if you do happen to find one available for purchase, don't be surprised by the expensive price tag.

Best Seats for Kids and Family
Our list of top recommendations for bringing the family to a football game at Gillette Stadium has a clear starting point thanks to two different designated family sections. Located on the second seating tier, sections 225 and 238 feature a strict no-alcohol policy which helps to promote a less rowdy atmosphere and gentler language from neighboring fans. These second tier corner sections are very similar in regard to views, both having a comfortable angle to the center of the field from a very good viewing height. The entry tunnels are located near row 3, so we would advise searching in rows 12 and lower to keep your walk up and down the aisle at 10 rows or less.
If you prefer being on the lowest seating tier when bringing your crew to a football game, there are some excellent options located in all four corners of Gillette Stadium. The upper rows (34 and higher) of sections 102-104, 115-117, 124-126, and 137-139 are an ideal area for a family as you'll never be more than 5 rows away from the concourse - eliminating any lengthy walks up and down the aisle. But the best feature of these seats is the overhead coverage from the seating deck above, which will give you and your group some protection from the weather. If you're little ones are Patriots fans, you'll want to opt for sections 102-104 or 115-117 as these are closer to the home team sideline.
Also found on the lower seating tier, the upper rows of sections 118-122 deserve some consideration as well when searching for a good spot to bring your family. Rows 34 and above here will not have the same great overhead coverage that you'll find in the lower level corner sections mentioned previously, however you do still have the shorter walks up and down the aisles (no more than 5 rows). Views are incredibly comfortable as you simply look straight ahead to follow the action on the field and the videoboard above the far endzone. With the Optum Field Lounge located just below, there are just 20 rows of reserved seating in each of these sections, creating a smaller more comfortable atmosphere.
Finally, when searching for tickets for your family outing at Gillette Stadium, we recommend avoiding the upper portion (rows 8 and higher) of the 300 level sections whenever possible. These seats are very high up in the stadium, are exposed to the weather, and have very steep walkway aisles when moving between the seats and the concourse.

Best Seats for Visiting Team Fans
If you're at Gillette Stadium to cheer on the visitors, one of the most popular spots is going to be behind the visiting team sideline on the lower seating tier. Sections 130-133 put you in prime position behind your favorite players, and also gives you good angles to both ends of the field. Sitting in the front rows will be an exciting choice as you'll be closer to the team, however overall views of the field can be difficult due to the lower seating height. Better views can be found in rows 20 and higher here, although as a result you will have to sacrifice being as close as possible to the players and coaches lining the edges of the field. The lack of an entry tunnel above section 131 (due to a press box) makes getting to and from seats there a bit more difficult, so if you prefer more convenience we recommend searching in sections 130, 132, or 133.
Another option which we advise supporters of the away team to consider are seats near the visiting team entry tunnel in sections 115 and 116. From here you get a great perspective of your players as they move between the field and the locker room during pre-game, half time, and after the last second ticks off the clock. Seats in section 116 do not extend all the way to the field, but will have you directly above the team tunnel. If you prefer being a bit closer, section 115 runs along the side of the tunnel and all the way to the bottom of the lower seating tier. Hoping to get a high five from your favorite players as they move through the tunnel? Search section 115 for seat number 8 in rows 1-2 or seat number 9 in rows 3-5, and you'll have the best chance by being right up against the side of the tunnel and close to field level.
While not as loaded with the more obvious attractions for a visiting team fan, we also recommend considering seats in sections 121-124 near the south west corner of the lower seating tier at Gillette. Tickets here will give you an intriguing viewing perspective right down the visiting team sideline, and also provides good angles to the iconic lighthouse and bridge above the north endzone. Opting for rows 29 and higher will leave you with a good viewing height, and also keep you close (no more than a 10 row walk) to a number of unique concession options located just above these south endzone seats.

Row 7 is designated as handicap accessible seating in sections 303, 305, 309, 311, 314, 326, 327, 331, 333, and 336.The platform structure that you see on our seating row layout is designed to show that the handicap seating platform extends deeper than normal rows, and occupies the space where rows 5 and 6 would be in other 300 level sections which do not have handicap accessible seating in Row 7.

- What is the Optum Field Lounge at Gillette Stadium?
The Optum Field Lounge is a new premium reception area located at field level at the South end of Gillette Stadium. The lounge sits on what was previously rows 1-17 of sections 117-122 and gives fans an opportunity to enjoy an upscale experience with their feet nearly on the field turf.

Membership to the lounge is offered to season ticketholders as an add-on to their gameday experience. Fans who have access to the 20,000 square-foot venue will marvel at the 288 square-foot media wall where they can catch up on action across the league. An outdoor patio at field level is also accessible through the lounge and gives fans an opportunity to watch activity on the field from the lowest possible vantage point.
Perfect Hideaway For Non-Club Ticketholders
New Englanders know that the weather can be brutal during games in November, December and January. Previously, the only way to beat the elements at a Patriots game was to take advantage of the club lounge in the ultra-expensive club seats or be lucky enough to have a ticket in the even-more-expensive luxury suites. The new Optum Lounge gives all of its members an opportunity to escape to a climate-controlled setting before during or after the game - whether their seats are in the lower level or in the top row of the upper
- Where are the best seats for a short person at Gillette Stadium?
At a concert especially, fans tend to stand during a lot of the performance, making it important to get seats where you can see the stage if you are short. The best option would be to sit in the front row of a section. The front row of the middle or upper level would be even better than the lower level, but all of these options would work well. If this is not possible, the next best option would be to sit somewhere on the top level of the stadium. The upper level is steeper than the lower levels, so you will have a better chance of seeing over the person in front of you.

Club seats at Gillette are outdoors. You have access to an indoor club which is protected from the elements and allows you to see the field -- but there is no assigned seating and it is not ideal to watch the entire game.
