With lockdowns pushing people into learning new skills online, thousands of new traders, educators and mentors have suddenly flooded the retail forex and futures industry, offering courses and million dollar strategies. This makes it extremely hard for us to see through the fakes, to find who is actually offering value.
In this article we are doing an in-depth review of G7FX, Neerav. We will dive into the pros, cons, my experience with the course and everything you’ll need to know before deciding whether or not to purchase the mentorship. Let’s get into it…

Who Is G7FX?
G7FX came to the spotlight over the last few years with a hugely successful paid marketing campaign. This drew the attention of traders around the world as Neerav (NV) seemed to have a completely different trading style to other break and retest style mentors in the industry. In fact, G7FX is COMPLETELY different to all of the other top forex trading coursesin the market.
As far as I’m aware, Neerav purely trades on Footprint charts, something completely different to all other ‘technical analysis’ style courses.
Neerav has trading experience with Barclays, who taught him the craft it seems and has a range of other accolades to his name. G7FX position themselves as the only real forex educators out there, offering track records and consistent trading over the long term. I have personally seen short track records on MyFxBook
from NV, but these are only for a few weeks at a time – nothing long term.
What Does G7FX Offer?
Now we know who’s running this show, it’s important to look at the offering so we know what we are buying.
Firstly, there is a foundation course. This has 5 different modules and a DOM which will come in handy if you’re looking to trade the same kind of styles as NV. This course teaches the basics of forex, reading the markets, reading data and touches on the supply and demand functions within the markets. This really isn’t anything groundbreaking but I personally think this is valuable content, even if it can be found elsewhere for free (as most things can be).
Compared to the level of depth that even some of the other top forex coursesgo into, I’m really impressed with the depth of the content NV puts out in this course.
Once completing the foundation course, you have the pro course. I would definitely not take the pro course unless you were proficient as a trader already, or have been through a foundation course. Most of the videos in the course are extremely thorough and as you can see, over an hour long. This is going to be very much worth following if you’re looking to understand how NV trades the markets, how the use volume profile and order flow along with the VWAP in your trading.
Again, the level of content here reminds me of Trading Masterclass– very high level content that beginners can’t really make the most of.
NV’s Institutional Past
G7FX is built on the foundation that they’re different from retail traders in the forex industry as Neerav was trained by institutions to trade with the whales. He claims to have been on the futures desk for Barclays, before leaving his high paying career to trade at one of the worlds best prop firms.
We can see on the FCA Registerthat Neerav was indeed connected to Barclays back from 2005 to 2007. He claims to have been in the company for longer than this, but regardless of the timeline the FCA do prove that he was at the company. We can’t find any record of Neerav trading at the large prop firm he was said to be a part of after leaving Barclays and the closest we have is SMB Capitalsaying he was a student a few years ago – nothing else. This doesn’t mean that he isn’t telling the truth by any means, I was just unable to prove the claim!
Regardless, having a mentor with a bit of institutional experience is very valuable in my opinion. Besides Jonny from Trading Masterclass, none of the other top forex courseshave any ex-institutional traders.
G7FX Pricing
As far as value for money is concerned, it’s important to look at what you’re paying for this education, fully baring in mind that they majority of retail traders will still be losing money in the financial markets, regardless.
G7FX will set you back roughly £1000, depending on whether or not their special offer is currently running. This can be paid in 3 instalments or just as a one time fee.
Included in the fee is a custom DOM feed, which NV is claiming has a value of over £1000! With that in mind, is this extremely expensive for a trading course? Most trading courses tend to sit around the £400-£500 mark, so it’s definitely expensive compared to the rest of what’s out there for retail traders. However, NV positions the company as being ‘better’ and ‘different’ to all of the other retail educators out there that don’t have a clue what they’re doing, which is definitely somewhat valid.
G7FX YouTube
Much like KB Trading, Transparent FXand all of the other forex education programs out there, G7FX has a YouTube channeloffering forex related content to bring in the viewers as a free way of marketing. This is great for newbie traders though, as they’re able to absorb a lot of potentially useful free content!
NV posts a huge amount of fairly transparent content on the channel, breaking down trade reviews, partial MyFxBookreviews and sharing basic knowledge for traders to absorb. I’m personally a big fan of the channel, I think it is a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the retail content being put out, so definitely give it a watch if you’re looking for new traders to follow!
G7FX ForexPeaceArmy – Resources You Might Find Useful
Since running his huge marketing campaign over the last year or so, G7FX has been an extremely contentious figure in the industry with a lot of devout followers and a lot of haters. I thought I would compile a list of links to threads on FPA, a hugely useful resource, where conversations are taking place about the authenticity of NV and his institutional trading career.
The main points of contention seem to be:
- NV deletes his MyFxBook after every month, not showing it some months, yet claims to be fully transparent. (Alleged)
- His MyFxBook expectancies have shown he trades a very small 4 figure account. (Alleged) (This is shown in this image a student took – https://i.imgur.com/oeVRjoy.jpg
) - He was known in the FPA community back many years ago for being a scammer and faking profitability. (Alleged)
- His very expensive custom tools have just been taken from LePrivateBanker and John Grady. (Alleged)

What Makes G7FX Different Than Other Forex Courses?
Over the last few years, forex educational courses have been plentiful in the market. You just need to look at our best 30 forex educational courses listto realise how many courses are out there. With that being said, is there anything that actually sets G7FX apart, or is it just another forex course?
Well, what sets G7FX apart is that NV has institutional experience. You aren’t being taught price action strategies, which are essentially just drawings on a chart. Drawings on charts have no real meaning and although you can make money with them, the market isn’t moving in price due to you drawing a trend line.
G7FX aims to teach traders the actual mechanics behind markets and how the real buying and selling works. NV also claims to be extremely transparent and show real, verified results. With that being said, I’m yet to find a single forex mentor or educator that has a constant MyFxBooklink on their website. NV has published multiple track records in the past, but they are always for a very short length of time, then disappear, which is interesting.
Nonetheless, this course is very different from any other forex course you would find online!
G7FX Trustpilot Reviews – What Are Traders Saying?
G7FX has an Excellent reputation on Trustpilot, with over 95% of traders loving the content and we are nearly clocking in at 350 reviews now! This is great to see, very few educators will receive such a largely positive response considering that most traders taking part in any type of course will still be losing money at the end of the day. This response is very impressive and one of the reasons why G7FX has earned a place in the Top Forex Education Courses of 2023!
Whilst reading through the reviews, it’s clear to see that traders are loving NV’s approach to the market, viewing it more from an order flow and true supply/demand perspective, rather than technical analysis with a bit of fundamentals like the majority of forex traders seem to do. I have even seen that some of the reviewers are now claiming to be FTMO Funded, which is great news!
The Trading Strategies Taught By G7FX
Whilst I won’t be going into the exact trading strategies that NV is teaching, I will breakdown what kind of forex trader they would suit. The large majority of trades, if not all trades, will be closed the same day. In fact, the large majority of trades NV takes will be closed within a few hours of opening.
The strategies aren’t using time frame candles like usual retail trader strategies you would learn on Babypips, however, the closest relevant time frame would be the 1 minute chart.
With the G7FX strategies, you’ll only be trading on a few currency pairs and you’ll be waiting for the right price. Once at the right prices, you’ll start trading when you see aggressive buying or selling. This will make more sense once you have gone through the educational content.
In short, the methodology won’t work for those traders that want to only check the charts every daily close. This is real trading and requires extreme discipline, time commitment and focus. One benefit, however, is the fact that the quick trades would be perfect for someone looking for funding.
I would highly recommend looking at some of the industry leading prop firmslike FTMO, as not needing to hold over weekends will enable you to get funded!
In Summary – Is It A Scam?
In short, it’s impossible to be sure about whether or not G7FX is run by a consistently profitable trader, or just an ex Barclays trader that is now more focused teaching.
G7FX does have a huge amount of really valuable content, with lessons being extremely lengthy and in-depth, as well as a huge amount of positive reviews from students – I personally really enjoyed the content as well and I think it’s certainly one of the best forex trading courses in the market.
NV, the founder, has been around in the retail space for many years now and is very well known for a number of reasons, not all positive, leading to a huge amount of negative pushback as well regarding his authenticity.
