What is the SAT?
The SAT or the Scholastic Aptitude Test is conducted by the College board to access student readiness on college and career readiness. The main purpose of this exam is to gain admission to college.

What are the different sections in the SAT test?
The SAT tests student knowledge on Math, Evidence based Reading and Writing. Apart from this, there is an optional Essay section.

The SAT Math section will be for a duration of 80 mins and students will answer 58 questions
The Evidence based Reading will be for a duration of 65 mins and students will answer 52 questions
The Writing and Language section will be for a duration of 35 mins and students will answer 44 questions
The Essay section is for 50 minutes.

What is a good score in SAT?
SAT is scored on a 400–1600 point scale. The average score will be 1060. Anything above that will definitely be good.
