Another heating company in let me down and said they could not proceed with my heating conversion at the kast minute due to the fact i had a coal fired back boiler. I spoke to a few firms nobody would do it.i phoned Warm Front and spoke to Carlo, we can do that mate! 1 month later i have a new combi boiler , hot water on demand and a warm house for the first time in 13 years. Eco4 Grants are part of a government-supported initiative that has been put in place to help reduce household carbon emissions and provide more energy efficiency measures to all UK homes. It is aimed mainly at homes that are claiming a means tested benefit or on a very low income. Warm Front Grants for 2024 provide FREE heating upgrades & FREE home insulation.

eco4 flex scheme - For People Not On Benefits
If you’re not receiving any benefits at all you may still qualify under the Government LA Flex scheme
The LA Flex Funding scheme (Local Authority Eligibility Flexibility) is only available to a limited number of UK councils.
For this reason you can apply but not hear anything back unfortunately. West Midlands postcodes have the most chance of being successful.

Are There Eco4 For Doors And Windows?
ECO4 was supposed to cover 100% of the cost of double glazing as well as new doors.
This was initially proposed at the start of the scheme.
Whilst ECO4 provides successful applicants with up to £14,000 for energy saving home improvements, doors and windows are not included.
Are There Eco4 Grants For The Disabled ?
All disability benefits no longer are eligible for an Eco 4 Grant unfortunately.
Non-means-tested benefits that were previously available under Warm Front but aren’t offered on The New Warm Front Schemeinclude:
Disability Living Allowance (DLA) Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Attendance Allowance.
Do British Gas Offer Eco4
British Gas together with all the other energy companies are funding the new Warm Front Scheme known as Eco 4. None of them are actively partaking in the scheme.
