Crypto price alerts

Crypto price alerts are push notifications that let you know when a coin has a price movement that meets the selected threshold.

Frequency options

Frequency options

The frequency options are either Less (default) or More alerts. Less means you’ll receive up to 3 alerts for each coin every 24 hours based on your price threshold. More means you could receive as many alerts as necessary for each coin every 24 hours based on your price threshold. However, for both frequency options, you won't ever receive more than 1 alert per hour for each coin.

If you currently own crypto and have equity alerts turned on, your crypto price alerts are automatically turned on. The default settings are a 5% price threshold and your frequency is set to Less. However, you can adjust push notification settings any time and customize them based on your preferences.

If you don’t have equity alerts turned on or only have crypto in your watchlist, you’ll need to turn them on in your push notification settings.

If you only have crypto on your watchlists but purchase crypto later, you’ll automatically start receiving price alerts for the crypto you’ve purchased and held.

Frequency Options: Users can choose between "Less" (default) and "More" alerts. "Less" provides up to 3 alerts for each coin every 24 hours, while "More" allows for more frequent alerts if necessary, though not exceeding 1 alert per hour for each coin.

Opting In for Price Alerts: If users already own crypto and have equity alerts turned on, crypto price alerts are automatically enabled. Users can adjust push notification settings at any time, even if they only have crypto in their watchlist.

Turning On Price Alerts: For owned coins, users can navigate to Account → Settings → Notifications & Messages → Push Notifications → Crypto Price Movements. Users with coins in their watchlist can follow a similar process but need to turn on alerts explicitly.

Price Threshold and Alert Frequency: Users can customize their price threshold and alert frequency based on their preferences. The default settings include a 5% price threshold, but users have the flexibility to adjust these settings.

52 Week High/Low Alert: Users receive an alert if a coin in their portfolio or watchlist hits a 52-week high or low. However, this alert is limited to once per week.

Disclosures: Users are advised to review their settings carefully and understand the frequency and threshold limits on alerts. Robinhood Crypto, LLC cannot guarantee the delivery of push notifications, as it is subject to service availability, app settings, and mobile phone configurations.
