Closed ability to send after doing 2 small transactions. Then locked account- spent 4 days verifying account and resetting password while CB promised that would work. Every time I get a message that it's verified- it's still locked. Support is very bad and is like a robot saying the same thing - which does not work. After opening a complaint they close it immediately saying that I have an open support case. YES which you don't solve. I suggest all to use a different platform.

This is the worst experience. Scam co which makes money on fees for everything. They lock your money for 11 days no matter what payment you use. Basically you can do nothing with your own crypto. Hard to return them to bank. Poor customer service. High fees. I used other apps with no delays or any issues. You cant even leave review on them. How so? FBI should closer to look at their business. Never again with them.

Coinbase locked my account for no apparent reason without any notification or explanation whatsoever. Instructed to call customer service who can only tell me they've forwarded my questions and to expect a response within a week. Meanwhile, I can't contribute nor move my crypto off the exchange. BTC is nose-diving and Coinbase is obtuse and costing me money. Complete knuckleheads. Buyer beware! Better alternatives out there.
Tip for consumers:
While BTC nose dives I can't manage my account and I'm told it could take six days for a response. Unacceptable.

Their security is weak. I lost a little over 1 etherium. Some malicious actor accessed my account changed my password and stole my crypto. Coinbase s response was not helpful. They said all fraudulent transactions were irreversible. Beware Bull$#*!.

After 9 months of paying their 29.99 fee, unknowingly, The cancelled the "subscription", but then they made me pay $30 in fees to sell bitcoin and close my account. If I decide to have exposure to crypto again, I'll buy GBTC.
Note- There is no way to talk to any live person. The only way to communicate is through their text, and they ignore you when they know the customer is unhappy. Employees are from outside the USA.
Tip for consumers:
9 months of unknowingly paying $29.99....It's my fault for not checking. Do not give Coinbase any of your bank information!

Coinbase is a portal to Hell; they frequently block access to your account and need you to navigate numerous technological barriers via phone, email, QR scans, and text messages, which prevents you from making the essential trades and causes you to lose all of your money, like I did (thousands of dollars). Coinbase is so awful that they're threatening to start a black hole that would swallow up the entire world! The worst online experience I've ever had. I'm sure my money would have vanished forever if I hadn't found danfulrecouptech on Google.
Buyer Beware! As an attorney and executive for a fortune 300 company, I am amazed this can happen. I was locked out of my account. I went through the verification process and submitted pictures of my drivers license. After several unsuccessful attempts I did a chat line. Zero help! There was literally no way to get my account verified. Luckily on the iPhone app I had a direct deposit back to my bank. Thus I immediately sold everything. They lost my money and my business because they have no way to work with you directly when their software will not work properly.

I truly worry that people could lose all their deposited funds, since there is no way to have direct contact and a direct verification system, when their software is not working properly

This fraudulent, thieving company will lock you out of your account, with the intention of stealing your money when you finally abandon the account out of frustration. Their extremely low reviews, over all platforms, speaks volumes. What is outrageous is that a government regulatory agency hasn't closed them down.

Still don't how a large cryto exchange like this can be used to scam people via a link website or a cloned version. I had a bed experience here, invested upto 250k but everything turns out to be scam. Was so heartbroken and confused for months until i got helped from megarecoup,io and got all i have invested back. They kept me informed at every step, and I always felt like a valued client. They were patient in explaining the process and answering all my questions.

They answers only accordingly scripts, quarreled with the client service because of freezing my account for verification and make it really slow, for 3 months already but the KYC department responds only once a week, I'm provide a lot of evidence of the origin of money, but judging by the answers, they decided to teach. This is my first time at this kind of sytuations, I payed all my taxes and I now have to explain some offended girl that I'm not a scammer...

They just don't care what and how you say, they don't even care that they hold your money and make you lose on it... just a stupid company that is better not to get involved with! I don't mind the checks, they are needed, but then you do the check quickly!

LSS, purchase bitcoins but decided to rescind in under 5 min. Contacted Coinbase via chat was promised it was no problem it purchase would be reversed since it did not process yet. This went on for 5 days of going back and forth with various agents. Chat was not working properly was lied to by all of the agents. No one had a real answer. The worst customer service ever, never resolved my issue, was promised call backs that never happened. The account was hit for fees for a purchase that I stopped and was processed and led to my account being locked. I have since stopped using Coinbase the worst in fees and service.

Not only was issue not resolved they charged me fees there are no so many areas where Coinbase did not support my request that it lead to my account being taxed for fees accumulated due to my attempt to close the account and their terrible rules. No Call back impossible to reach someone by phone. Like its a scam and not even sure if those on the chat were real people, because they had so many blanks for simple questions. No real skill to assist with issue super stupid was a hero CB is HQ.

Moving my crypto to Coinbase must be the biggest mistake of my life or a close second to something else I already forgot about and thus can't be that bad as this total disaster of a crypto asset nightmare, in every way possible they make you go around in circles to avoid having to release your funds including blocking access for no reason whatsoever but with the excuse that there has been some kind of security breach. My crypto assets have been inaccessible from the getgo and I got to hear from one of their professional scammers on the "help" desk they hired to do the dirty work named Abhisit that I can't move any of my crypto nor transfer it to my bank account until December 15,2023. It's 3 months from now. 2 factor authentication is another horrible nightmare designed to make you give up and keep your crypto at Coinbase for another week or longer since the code hardly ever arrives in your mailbox and if it does and you apply it, you still get the "Oops" message that "it looks as if it was an automated attempt", meaning you've got to start all over again and keep going further down Coinbase rabbit

I don't know why people still use this crap, the ui is awful, the ux is terrible, the support even real people are worse than robots. I really hope with all the time they've wasted since I became a customer years ago drives people away. Uphold is 10 times better support and real people, ui and ux actually works.

They devised a systematic way of locking people like myself out of their various accounts. Btc is rising I had over $46,083 in my account with them but, I was never allowed to get the chance to make a withdrawal. Every time I tried to a login it different error signs. I made several communication with them but no successful resonse. It was so awful, that infrawhite.com was my savior from them. I'm glad they kept their promise of helping me.

It's very painful when you invest your money to make more then you end up been striped off all your money, all access to my money is been restricted for no reason and all attempts to have it restored is to no avail! This lasted for many years and i was depressed till i came across this platform that helps recover all lost funds. Contact them at ±1-6-5-7-2-3-3-1-7-8-3

Your ok paying money in you try and get it out! Recommended by a friend, who doesn't seem to have any problem with them but only has a low amount in there, I have 3,800 pounds in and cannot get access to my own money, customer service are useless, and don't even respond to my enquires any more..

Invested $50,000 in Coinbase. Initially, encountered very polite and skilled specialists. However, the big 'But' is crucial – they turned out to be scams! Deceived and unable to withdraw my money, I sought assistance from support(at) fast-recovery(.)io specialists. It's still hard to believe they truly exist. Huge thanks to these guys—they successfully retrieved my funds!

Coinbase is the most crooked crypto exchange you could ever work with. Look at how many bad bad bad reviews they have. I am waiting a whole week to access my money. They keep using the excuse that the device that I'm using to authorize the two step factor is not recognized when this has been my phone ever since I opened up my coinbase. If you use coinbase then you are screwed!

Terrible, this is a total con job. Sold some bit shares.
1) Without my permission they went ahead and Withdraw that exact amount I sold from one bank account.
2) Then deposited that amount in my second bank account
3) Therefore Bitcoin kept my earnings from the sale
While moving my own money around.
4) They even charged me fees for moving my own money!
Insanity would be a better term!
Never got a straight answer, total scripted email. They do not own to their mistakes...
Why would they? Apparently Not need to answer to anyone.

How the hell did this company get an IPO. It's trading fees are ridiculously high. And you'd think to make up for that they have good transfer speed. I've used defi wallets and know how long a transaction takes on the blockchain. Their method is slow for "security" purposes. But all it does is slow down the trading process and takes users' money.

Unable to get help once Coinbase deactivated my account after it had just verified my ID. No chat or phone support and worthless help section. Also accounts had been set up using my email address in the past without my knowledge and Coinbase refused to tell me how they had been verified. They did contain old credit card numbers probably from sites that had been hacked. Coinbase has very poor security procedures when it is not you but when it is you they lock you out for no reason and you cannot get any help.

It is impossible to withdraw btc for several months. They refer to the high commission of the network. As a result, the account has more than $ 5,000, but it cannot be withdrawn. The withdraw button is simply not active. I have some others wallets with btc and not have any problems with fees.

Absolutely horrible. They can legally steal your money and there is not one thing you can do about it. The customer service individuals cannot answer simple questions or maybe they aren't allowed to, I don't know but do not waste your money and time. They do not care about you they are just stealing your money, they need to be investigated, if normal people were behaving this way they put you in prison for fraud.
