Just some clarification - is your question about the iPhone itself or the power adapter that may come in the box or that might have been recommended to work with an iPhone? Because Apple doesn't provide a power adapter any more with iPhones. And iPhones take in DC power, which can be from anything including an AC-DC power adapter, USB power bank, or a battery/mains powered computer with DC output from USB.

Sure.

All Apple chargers are 100-240 Volts and 50/60 Hz. All that you need is the right wall plug adapter depending on where you are in the world.

Adapters are available at travel shops, airport shops and often at hotels as well as online.

An option for those who don't mind spending 3-4 times what things will cost online at Amazon.

Unless things have changed recently, the Apple adapter(s) do not work all that well in Italy and/or Switzerland, countries that have decided that they have to be a bit different than most of the rest of Europe.

You only get one adapter in the kit for the country in which you are staying. Most of us need 3-4 adapters in the hotel room for the laptop, iPad, phones, razor, hairdryer, etc.

But, nice packaging with the Apple kit.

iPhones receive DC power. 220V would easily destroy it and could be very dangerous.

But if your question is about an Apple power adapter, pretty much every one I've seen in the past 25 years can operate off of 100-240V at 50-60Hz. One might still need an adapter to physically connect.

Yes. Be sure to use Apple chargers and they are marked with the acceptable voltage ratings. You will not need a voltage converter if you are using one of the Apple Chargers.
