Can a blocked buyer watch my listings? ›

When you block a buyer, they can still see your listings but won't know they have been blocked until they try to bid or buy your product. At this stage, they receive the following message, “This seller is not accepting bids from you”. Ultimately, choosing when to block someone is up to you.

They are able to see your listings; unless they hit the back button, when they see your id. They won't know they are blocked, unless you have told them, until they go to bid or buy. Then they receive a message that states, This seller is not accepting bids from you.

The communication block prohibits member ids on your BBL from contacting you through an item listing; however, they can still contact you through the links on your feedback page and your profile page. There is no way to completely block communication from another member.

You cannot block anyone from seeing your listing, only from purchasing from you. However just because someone lists a similar item for $1.00 less than yours, that doesn't mean a buyer will automatically choose the other. Buyers also look for experienced sellers, which you seem to be one.

You can't see each other's listings on Marketplace. You can't send each other any new messages. You and the profile you block can still see any messages sent before you blocked them. Buyers and sellers will still be able to see ratings and reviews, even from profiles that they've blocked.

There are two ways to remove bad reviews on eBay. First, you can ask a buyer to change or remove their feedback. Alternatively, you can report the feedback directly to eBay and request its removal.

You can choose to block buyers based on certain criteria. For example, buyers living in a country you don't ship to, or buyers with excessive canceled orders because they didn't pay for items. You can also choose to exclude specific postage locations (regions, countries, PO boxes) from your listings.

There is no way on Etsy to block a customer. The only way you can "block" is hiding your favorites from them. That's it. You will still have to respond or spam messages from them.

Block buyers from your listings

If you don't wish to sell to certain eBay members, you can put them on your blocked list. Members on that list will be unable to bid, buy, make an offer or send you messages on any of your listings until you remove them from the list.

Sellers cannot identify who is viewing their items, but eBay gives sellers the opportunity to send offers without knowing who the offer is going to. If the buyer takes advantage of the offer, then the seller finds out identifying information.

As mentioned above, blocking a buyer first and foremost guarantees that they will not be able to bid on or buy any item you're selling.
