Faster, More Reliable Text Notifications For Verizon Customers
As of Monday, March 14th customers using Verizon cell phone service are able to receive system notifications faster and more reliably via text than before. We have been working with Verizon to improve speed and deliverability, and now have the ability to send text messages through a direct connection to Verizon’s SMS Center.
In order to use this direct connection, all SMS notifications to customers with Verizon cell phone service need to come from a different address than they have in the past. These text notifications are sent from ‘777204160002,’ similar to the notifications received by AT&T and T-Mobile customers.
