Add money to your Google Pay balance (US only) (2024)

If you verify your identity, you can add money to your Google Pay balance from a verified bank account or debit card. To send money to friends and pay for Google products, you can use your Google Pay balance. If you set up your Google Pay balance to pay businesses, you can use it to make contactless, in-app, or online purchases wherever Google Pay is accepted.

Important:

  1. Open the Google Pay app Add money to your Google Pay balance (US only) (1).
  2. Tap your profile icon on the top right of the home screen.
  3. Tap on your Google Pay balance.
  4. Tap +Add money.
  5. Enter the amount you want to add.
    • Minimum amount is $10.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Choose a bank account or debit card as your payment method.
  8. Tap Add.
