Click Overview and scroll down to Look and Feel. Click on "All look and feel settings". Under Look and Feel, scroll down to Customize. Choose the font, border color, and background color for that element.
On the Google Custom Search home page, click Manage your existing search engines. (If you haven't yet created one, click Create a Custom Search Engine.) If prompted, sign in with your Google Account. The My Search Engines list shows the search engines associated with your account.
Long tap on Google App to open the app's info tab (or open it from Setting > Apps and select Google App). Tap on Uninstall Updates. So Google App remains in an old version. Now go to Home, open widgets and there is the Google Search Bar again, select it and drag it to the desired position.
