As a result, the captions are provided by the films/shows in accordance with their agreement if they want their content to be available on Netflix.

Another website that you should look out for is Inbox Dollars though I like Swagbucks more! It’s one of my top go-to survey sites for some extra cash. Aside from answering surveys, the company will pay you to watch videos, play games, and shop online.
The site has many activities to do which is why I’ve made an extra $500 per month by doing these simple tasks. I’ve also talked about other ways on how I earn $300, $500, and even $1,000 in a single day!
7. Become a Netflix Affiliate
Even some of the biggest Netflix fans don’t know that Netflix used to have an affiliate program. Before Netflix blew up to the way it is now, they used affiliate marketing as a means to grow. The best part was that they were generous with the commissions. People who were part of their affiliate program earned at least $10 and up to $25 per free trial conversion and completion.
Unfortunately, Netflix canceled its program because it chose other ways to grow as a brand. But there are some speculations that this affiliate program might come back, especially since most people are now only sharing their Netflix accounts and not creating new ones. We’re all guilty of it. I’m sure even you share a Netflix account with at least one other person.
If you’re interested in joining this affiliate program, you can sign up for Netflix’s newsletter so you’re up-to-date on any new information.
But if you really want to earn money through Netflix, you can always join their Merch Shop affiliate program through affiliate networks like FlexOffers and Rakuten Advertising. Through this program, affiliates can earn up to 8% commission on qualified sales from the Netflix Merch shop. What’s amazing about this program that others don’t have is the 7-day cookie duration, which means that affiliates can still earn even if the referred customer makes a purchase days after clicking the link.
8. EduBirdie
It might come as a surprise, but the education-based website EduBirdie paid people (they were very generous with the salary) to watch Netflix. It all happened in theirSmart Watchers program, where they opened around 20 slots to research how viewers are motivated to study.
The position is open to anyone from the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Singapore, as long as they are 21 years old or older.
How it works is that Edubirdie provides successful watchers with a month-long subscription to Netflix and other streaming platforms. Each watcher is required to watch at least 3 episodes of 10 chosen and popular television series. Watchers can choose 5 shows of their liking, but the other 5 shows will be chosen by Edubirdie.
Once they’re done with the episodes, they’re asked to complete a short online questionnaire that Edubirdie made. The watcher’s goal is to show how well they remembered information after each series.
Upon completing their task, they will receive a one-time payment of $1,000. Not too bad, if you ask me.
Right now, the application for the position is closed, but EduBirdie will be opening another cycle in the future, so be sure to be on the lookout!
