Hold on a minute. You’re telling me you can take surveys, earn cash online, and get paid via PayPal? Can you genuinely make free money online through paid surveys?

If this all sounds like a new concept to you, don’t worry, you’re not alone. If you’re familiar with online survey sites, I bet you’re burning with questions:

  • What are the top survey sites that actually pay?
  • What are the highest paying online surveys?
  • What is the best paid survey site?
  • What are the best survey sites to make money?

I have a hunch that you’ve landed here because you’re on the hunt for ways to rake in some extra cash via free paid surveys. Let’s face it, who couldn’t use a little boost to their finances?

Just picture it… like Homer with his ever-craving for donuts, you might find yourself muttering: I need money, and I need it quick!

Be it for rent, groceries, the occasional sweet treat, or gas, we could all do with a bit of sideline income, couldn’t we? So let’s dive in and figure this out together!

Why take paid surveys for money?

Alright, why should I take paid surveys online? Would I even earn as much as I can fromdelivery appsor selling platforms? What’s the catch?

Well, here’s the scoop: many market research companies want to know what you’re thinking. They want to know what you crave, what you hate, and what makes you tick. They need all these to design the best products and services that consumers like you will love and use.

So how do they get inside the heads of consumers?

Surveys. That’s where you come in. These companies are more than willing to pay you in cash and gift cards just for your opinions. Yes, you can earn money in a few minutes just by answering their questions. But let’s be honest, you won’t be making $500 a day (gosh, no), $200 a day (you wish), and not even $100 a day (unfortunately).

I can say that you can make $500 a week from delivery apps like DoorDash or even an instant $100 just by selling your shoes online.

But with these survey websites, it’s not impossible to encounterhigh paying surveys where you can gather a stash of $25 to $100 free gift cards from your favorite stores like Walmart, Starbucks, and Amazon. You might even earn enough for your next grocery run.

As you can see, taking surveys online isn’t going to make you a millionaire. It’s just a fun way to get extra change, but it’s not a replacement for a full-time income if that’s what you’re after.

Speaking from my experience, if you’re after a more lucrative gig or hobby, I’d say, why not start a blog?

I spent years taking surveys before I took the plunge and started a blog to chronicle my financial journey—how I save, how I earn, the works. And boy, did that turn the tables! I quit my job and am now earning a six-figure income a year! I work just 2 to 3 hours a day, all thanks to the blog I started.

Best Online Survey Sites That Pay Cash

Before we start, I want to share my honest opinion and experience as a survey taker for many years.

There are thousands of survey sites that claim you get money for taking their online surveys but end up paying you nothing. There are also survey sites that don’t have many opportunities for you to earn extra cash.

That’s why, at the end of this post, I list my very best tips to help you avoid scams and false promises made by those online survey sites.

For now, throughout this post, I will only list out thebest survey sites with very good to excellent Trust Pilot scores, so you can rest assured that they are legitimate and worth joining for some extra cash.

⭐ SPOLIER ALERT:Swagbucksis a survey site I often use and recommend. What I really like about them is they still reward you with points even if you don’t qualify for some surveys.

These points can be redeemed for PayPal money or a free gift card of your choice once you hit a minimum of $5 which isn’t hard to achieve.

Swagbucks is one of the highest paying survey websites and you couldearn up to $35 per survey when you sign up for FREE here. Just remember to verify your e-mail to get the $5 welcome bonus!

👉If you want to cut to the chase, go straight to the list and join the highest-paying online survey sites and earn up to $50 per survey.

Best Survey Sites To Make Money

20 Best Paid Survey Sites For Money 2024 ($50 PayPal Cash) (4)I also want to mention that these are not the “get-rich-quick” schemes that we hear of all the time.

I’ll be honest and tell you that taking online surveys won’t make you wealthy or become the next Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos, but completing surveys for money in your spare time is definitely a quick and easy way to make extra money online on the side.

Having said that, getting paid to do surveys doesn’t cost you anything and it’s a fun side hustle that could definitely help make your spending more affordable.

That includes buying some groceries, filling up the gas for your car, buying birthday and holiday gifts for your besties, splurging on your favorite latte from Starbucks without having to cut back, and much, much more! 🙂

It’s one of the easiest and quickest ways to earn money online with no experience required.

Earn up to $50 per survey

You may not make $100 per survey, but you could surely earn up to $50 per survey with these legitimate companies! Yes, fortunately, you can make anywhere from $50 to $500 per month, depending on how active you are.

Rest assured that the paid survey sites on this post are all legitimate, pay real cash, and are top survey sites. Again, they are absolutely FREE to join and use!

With that said, below is a list of the best-paid survey sites that you should join today.

💡PRO TIP: It’s clever to sign up for as many survey sites as possible so that you come across more earning opportunities. More earning opportunities equal more money and rewards.

To make life easy and organized, I highly recommendcreating a new Google e-mail account that’s only for e-mail notifications from the survey sites you signed up for. That way, you avoid clutter in your personal e-mail. That’s exactly what I’ve done and it’s helped tremendously!

Highest Paying Online Surveys:

I personally like earning free gift cards instead of PayPal money. But aside from earning free gift cards to your favorite shops, here is a list of the best online surveys that pay you actual cash whenyou need money…

1. Swagbucks surveys

If you’ve read some of my blog posts, you know thatSwagbucks and I go way back. I have sentimental feelings towards this earning app, and I still remember the good old days when you could redeem their Swagbucks t-shirts. I’m guilty of recommending this website every chance I get. I’d be lying if I said it’s not one of my favorites!

Today, it has become one of the most popular survey sites, and it’s well deserved! I’m not just saying this because it holds a special place in my heart. It has a 4.2 rating on TrustPilot, so people who have tried it really recommend it.

Swagbucks was my gateway to the amazing world of paid survey sites back when I was still at University. It’s not enough to say that I was amazed. Being the skeptic I am, I thought nothing would come of it. But I was so speechless when I started earning.

This website made me feel recognized for my time and effort to give out my opinions. It rewarded me generously. I may not earn$50 per survey, but I still felt like someone was handing mefree Starbucks coffeefor my thoughts. Imagine me, a broke student back then, getting those $50-$100 gift cards. It felt like I’d struck a little gold.

Right now, I’ve got money in my Swagbucks account, just waiting for me to cash it out via PayPal. Check out my free $50 PayPalhere:

2. Branded Surveys

Discovering Branded Surveys made me feel like I found a lost treasure. The rewarding opportunities it had gave me that thrill that other survey sites didn’t.

What I love the most about Branded Surveys is that it’s very simple to use. Even those who aren’t well-versed in online survey platforms or anything online at all can navigate the website. They have a wide range of surveys that you can answer, from the newest tech gadgets to your pizza preferences.

Compared to other survey sites, Branded Surveys is one of the highest-paying platforms. It’s also where I collected points really fast! I was exchanging my points for PayPal cash in no time! Even I was surprised at how quickly I was getting money.

They also offer gift cards, which are perfect for people who enjoy saving up for their shopping spree now and then.

The only downside I see is that they’re focused on surveys only, so don’t expect to earn points in any other way. They do offer mini surveys daily to add a fun twist to their system, so you won’t get bored easily.

This is best used when you’re just lounging on the sofa on your mobile phone. So, turn that spare time into real cash!

Start making money online with Branded Surveys now and see how easy it is to earn with a click. You can sign up for Branded Surveys using this link and get a 100 welcome bonus! And most importantly, make your voice count!

You can also check out my honest review of Branded Surveys, where I discuss my experience with taking surveys and offer tips on using the platform to earn extra money.

3. Survey Junkie

Just over a year ago, I learned about Survey Junkie, and let me tell you this…

They are one of my favoritebest paid survey sites today!

I was able to earn over $58 in a month with them doing a few online surveys! There was one survey I completed about fitness that did not require a lot of effort for a higher payout of $28. I was very shocked because I didn’t expect survey companies to provide this kind of high payout to survey takers!

While I was researching and reading about Survey Junkie on Trustpilot, the reviews really surprised me! Actual, real users mentioned that this survey site helped them pay their monthly utility bills. That’s at least $100! With that said, they deserve their 4.2/5 rating on Trustpilot Reviews!

One of my favorite features about Survey Junkie is its user-friendly interface (not old-school like some other survey sites). This enhances user experience and allows you to navigate around easily.

How does Survey Junkie work?

Simple! 🙂

You get rewarded with points each time you complete a survey.

Since most surveys reward you between 50 to 200 points, you’ll be able to cash out and redeem your rewards in no time. The minimum payout threshold is $10, which is equivalent to 1,000 points.

The two payout options are 1) you get paid cash through PayPal or 2) you exchange your points for gift cards at your favorite shops.

👉 It literally takes less than 1 minute to sign up for Survey Junkie here. You can start earning some extra money online right now!

4. InboxDollars

Another one of the best survey websites for me is InboxDollars.

I find that this site has more fun surveys compared to others. In some instances, they will ask your opinion on a new TV show or whether you prefer Pepsi or co*ke. Sometimes, you will be shown photos of two products and asked to choose between the two. So it’s definitely a welcome variation from the usual surveys.

But that’s not all! With InboxDollars, you’ll get paid to watch videos, play games, shop online, and use their search engine. There’s a lot of means to earn, so when you’ve exhausted one way, you still have other things to do. They also let you earn cash back when you sign up for their platform through their partner retailers like Walmart, Groupon, and Target.

So far, I’ve made more than $600 with InboxDollars, and I know that many others have made much more.

If you’re looking for high-paying surveys that pay through PayPal, today is your lucky day. You can request a payout through Paypal when you reach $30, and there are no hidden fees when you cash out.

If I haven’t convinced you yet, then check it out yourself. You can sign up for InboxDollars and get a $5 sign-up bonus here.

5. MyPoints surveys

MyPoints is actually owned by Swagbucks, so they are definitely trustworthy and legitimate! I enjoy using them to answer surveys on a monthly basis for a free Amazon gift card.

The questionnaires are very simple and straightforward. When I take online surveys with MyPoints, there’s no thinking involved. That’s why I like to do them whenever I’m bored and want to fiddle around with my smartphone. It’s a light activity that you can do when you’re waiting for your bus or on your way to work on the subway. 🙂

How does MyPoints work?

20 Best Paid Survey Sites For Money 2024 ($50 PayPal Cash) (10)

Given that their name is “MyPoints,” it’s a no-brainer that they pay you with points (their form of currency).

Once you accumulate enough points, you can cash out at their minimum payout of $10 for FREE gift cards, cash, and other rewards (it’s all up to you).

In addition to making money with paid surveys at home, MyPoints will alsoreward you for the things you do online, such as:

  • Watch video clips or movie trailers for quick cash
  • Shopping for the things you were going to buy anyway
  • Reading emails
  • Engaging in other fun online activities

👉 You can sign up for MyPoints here and earn up to $50 per survey. You’ll get a FREE $5 bonus after taking 5 quick surveys within the next 5 minutes. You’ll also earn an extra $1 bonus just creating your profile.

Signing up doesn’t cost anything and you can start earning extra money online today!

6. Drop

If you want aside hustle appthat’s unlike other survey apps, I suggest yousign up for Drop.

Although it is still a survey app, it’s different from the others because it works like a loyalty program. It also doesn’t focus on surveys alone but on activities that you’re already doing, such as playing games and shopping online. What happens when you sign up is that you link your credit or debit card, and then you earn points every time you make a purchase at one of their partner stores, play games, take surveys, and more.

I love that Drop has a large selection of partner stores, like Lululemon, Nike, and Starbucks. You’re likely to find your favorite store! That means you just have to incorporate Drop into your routine for you to earn points.

The points you collect can be redeemed for gift cards, cash, or even crypto. You even have the option to turn your points into “collectibles,” which are virtual items that help you unlock more app features.

Still unsure about this app? Well, you can check out my personal Drop review and tutorial here.

7. American Consumer Opinion

20 Best Paid Survey Sites For Money 2024 ($50 PayPal Cash) (11)

I recommend using American Consumer Opinion(ACOP) to earn some extra cash. I use this survey site because they pay you cash just for completing really simple questionnaires!

They’ve paid me to answer surveys that asked questions like… Where do you buy pop soda? Which stores do you purchase your soda from?

From my personal experience, each survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Not bad when you’re lying around your couch or bed with a bit of free time.

May as well earn a little extra spending money while you can! I like the fact that it’s FREE!

There are currently over 7,000,000 active members at ACOP today!

👉 You can sign up for American Consumer Opinion hereand start earning extra cash today. It only requires your e-mail for free membership, so it definitely doesn’t hurt to give them a try!

8. PrizeRebel

PrizeRebel isn’t your usual survey site. Sure, you’ll get points for taking surveys, playing games, and joining daily challenges, but the platform added a gamified element to how their points system works.

With PrizeRebel, it’s like you’re playing any adventure game. You can level up your account by completing tasks. The more activities you finish, the higher your level will be. In short, you just have to be active on the platform to make the most out of it. As you progress, you’ll unlock more benefits that lead to more points, such as discounted prices, monthly earnings, and higher bonuses.

Your earnings on the platform can be redeemed for cash, cryptocurrency, or gift cards, so there’s no shortage of options when it comes to cashing out.

What I love about PrizeRebel is that there’s no catch. With other survey sites, you have to wait a long time for your money to be transferred to you (which is why a lot of people think these websites are scams), but PrizeRebel lets you withdraw instantly as long as you have at least $5 in your account. If that isn’t convenient, then I don’t know what is.

9. LifePoints

Some survey apps go beyond just giving you surveys to answer. There are those like LifePoints that not only give you a variety of ways to earn but also a community where you can feel like you belong. LifePoints makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger.

Like any other survey website, LifePoints gives its members virtual points (LPs) for completing surveys. These points can then be redeemed for PayPal credit/cash, e-gift cards, and donations.

When you become a part of the LifePoints community, you will also find more ways to win points and prizes, like their Focus Groups and Product Testing. Some members will also be eligible for the “Diaries,” wherein you will keep track of how often you engage with products or services.

What I really love about this platform is that they’re very generous with the rewards. They have weekly events where members can get bonus points, and on some occasions, they even give away rewards like phones and tablets. You won’t see other survey sites doing that!

To start redeeming your points, you’ll need at least 550 points, which is enough to get you a free gift card worth $5. If you prefer to get PayPal credits, you’ll need at least 600 points.

An important thing to remember, though: the points you get from LifePoints expire after 30 days if your account has no member activity.

10. Opinion Outpost

Here I’ll be introducing Opinion Outpost, a tried-and-true member of the Dynata group.

They’ve been around for more than ten years, letting people like you make some cash on the side just by answering surveys. For each survey you fill out, you can earn anywhere from half a buck to five whole dollars!

What I really like is the fact that you only need to stack up $10 in your account before you can cash out through PayPal.

Not so into PayPal? No problem, you can turn your earnings into $50 to $100 Amazon gift cards instead. Or if you’re feeling generous, you can even send your earnings straight to the American Red Cross. Talk about a win-win!

The waiting game is short here too. Once you cash out, you’ll usually see your earnings in about 72 hours. So no nail-biting, clock-watching waits to get your reward. Opinion Outpost is worth the shot!

11. AttaPoll

Earning money is now as easy as swiping and tapping on your phone. AttaPoll is a convenient and accessible app right on your smartphone. It’s available for both iOS and Android users, so anyone can start earning cash from the platform.

AttaPoll is very straightforward as a paid survey platform. You just have to sign up for free, and then you can start answering surveys. You can also choose to change your settings in the app so you can increase the amount of surveys that you receive.

What’s great about AttaPoll is that you can filter out surveys based on the chances of you completing them. They have a star rating for surveys, so you’ll see, based on past users, how likely you are to complete the survey. This can guide you in opting out of the ones that are rated very low. The last thing you want is to do a survey so long, you’ll think the payout should include retirement benefits!

But keep in mind that the ratings are just a guide; they always are. A survey with a high rating doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be qualified for it.

Surveys on the app pay anywhere from $0.10 to $1.50, depending on the complexity or length. There isn’t as much earning potential on this app, but the ease of use and convenience can draw you in. After all, you are still earning free money.

12. Zoombucks

With a 4.6/5 rating on TrustPilot, it’s clear that Zoombucks is one of the highest-rated survey sites online.

Zoombucks is a great platform for people who are feeling a little competitive. They have a daily leaderboard where everyone can see who the top earners are every day. This leaderboard lets people in on the activities of those at the top, giving other members ideas on how they can maximize their earning potential.

The platform boasts a lot of surveys available daily, but you’re not actually limited to only completing surveys. They have other simple tasks you can do to earn points, such as watching videos, playing games, and completing various offers on their offer wall.

The only issue I find with this platform is that they have a lot of longer surveys, so it can be time-consuming for some people.

Despite that, it’s possible to gain enough points to cash out through PayPal within an hour. In fact, most surveys will give out around 1,500 points, and you only need at least 2,000 points ($2) to start cashing out via PayPal.

If you look at the leaderboards, you’ll see users earning as high as 20,000 points in a single day. As you can see, if you’re willing to put in the time, you can earn a good amount of points quickly. They could easily translate to enough cash to help you pay your bills or save on your groceries.

For those who prefer to redeem points as gift cards, you’ll need to accumulate at least 5,000 points ($5).

13. Panda Research

Panda Research is a great place to find convenient PayPal-paid surveys, but what I like about this platform is that it offers exclusive discounts and promotions for active members.

Whenever you actively participate in surveys, you become eligible to receive special offers and discounts from Panda Research. If you think about it, it’s like you’re getting rewarded twice for giving out your opinions. Okay, scratch that, you’ll actually get rewarded thrice, because on top of earning points and receiving offers, you will also be entered into giveaways and sweepstakes for a chance to win even more prizes.

There are many surveys available on the platform, and most of them will take no more than 10 minutes. However, you can also find a $50 survey that’s a little more complicated and time-consuming, but as you can see, the payout is very generous and worth it.

Of course, no platform is perfect. One drawback that Panda Research has is thatthey have a high minimum withdrawal amount. Before you can cash out your earnings, you’ll need to have at least $50 in your account. But hey, with all the opportunities and rewards waiting for you at Panda Research, reaching that goal won’t feel like a chore!

14. Ipsos i-Say

Ipsos i-Say is another great option for taking surveys and earning extra money.

I like Ipsos i-Say because the payout is very good (typically around $1 per survey) and they have a large selection of surveys to choose from. One thing to keep in mind with Ipsos i-Say is that their surveys tend to be on the longer side, so plan accordingly when you do them.

15. Inbox Pays

Inbox Pays is one of the most established survey websites online. It has been in the market research game since 2009, and they’re still standing strong to this day. That’s enough proof that they’re reliable and trustworthy.

To be honest, the payout on Inbox Pays isn’t as high as on other survey sites. But what they lack in points, they make up for in the ways you can earn points. From answering surveys to reading emails, clipping coupons, and spinning the wheel, there is just no shortage of activities you can do on the platform.

Over time, you won’t realize it, but you’ve already accumulated more than enough points to redeem your rewards.

Successfully signing up for Inbox Pays guarantees a $5 bonus. There is one catch, though. You’re still $45 away from cashing out. The platform requires a minimum payout of $50, so it will take some time before you can reap what you sowed.

16. Toluna

Most survey sites will just offer the same things: surveys and other tasks you need to complete to earn points. With Toluna, you’re getting way more than that.

Toluna is the kind of survey site that you wouldn’t only visit just to check if there are surveys ready to be answered. You’ll be visiting this website because it’s a community where you can create content and interact with other users, much like a social media site!

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Toluna also offers a variety of ways for you to earn points to redeem prizes. Aside from surveys, they have sponsored polls, which is a quick way to earn points. Every time you answer a poll, you’ll get 15 points.

They also have daily games and occasional contests for you to earn even more points. Keep in mind that all these things happen randomly, and you won’t be notified through email. It’s best to stay tuned on the Toluna blog so you’re informed about the ongoing contests and any new additions to the platform.

The minimum amount you need to start redeeming rewards with your points is $10. This isn’t a hard goal to reach. $1 is 3,500 points, and each survey can give up to 6,000 points. Like a lot of survey sites, Toluna also pays cash via PayPal. If you prefer to redeem your points for free Amazon or Starbucks gift cards, you will need at least 35,000 points ($10).

17. Pinecone Research

Say hello to the elite club of Pinecone Research. It’s a top-tier survey platform, but there’s a bit of a secret handshake—you need an invitation to join. To snag an invite, you can sign up on their website or keep an eye out for links on other sites you browse.

Now, what makes Pinecone Research stand out is its hefty survey payouts. They’re tossing $3 your way for the average survey, and that’s something to write home about! They’re also the kind of friend who remembers your birthday. They offer loyalty bonuses, so the longer you hang out with them, the more you can earn.

But wait, it gets even better! Pinecone opens the door to product testing opportunities. If you get picked for one of these, you’ll pocket a cool $9 for every product you test and give feedback on.

Ready to cash out? Just hit the $3 mark, and the world is your oyster. You can grab your earnings via PayPal, check, or gift card. Now, between you and me, Pinecone Research is one of my top picks. Not just because of the pay, but because the product testing adds a fun twist. Give it a whirl, and I bet you’ll love it as much as I do!

18. Zap Surveys

Let’s shine the spotlight on Zap Surveys, a paid survey app that’s all about rewarding you with real dollars for sharing your thoughts on products and services you know and love.

Zap Surveys keeps it straightforward—no points system to puzzle over. You see the value of each survey in cents upfront, so you can size up how much you’re earning and whether a survey is worth your time. Most surveys will toss between $0.25 and $1 into your piggy bank, but they’ll welcome you to the club with a hearty $6 for your first survey.

But why stop at surveys? Zap Surveys opens the door to all sorts of money-making opportunities:

  • Location rewards: Earn by just being somewhere!
  • Log-in streak: Get paid for showing up daily.
  • Daily challenges: Think of it as an exciting brain workout that pays.
  • Sharing on social media: Your followers are your fortune.
  • Inviting friends: More pals, more dollars.

Once your account balance hits $25, you can cash out via PayPal or grab an Amazon eGift card. Start zapping surveys and let the earnings flow!

19. Nielson

Let’s talk about Nielsen, a seasoned player in the market research arena, boasting decades of industry expertise. They’re keen to hear your thoughts via surveys, and they’re not stingy about rewarding you with cash for your insights.

But here’s where Nielsen stands out from the crowd: Their main hustle is gathering data on user behavior, and they’ve got a slick offer for you. Just download their mobile app, let it do its thing, and collect data on your phone usage, and just like that, you could be banking up to $60 a year for virtually zero effort.

Now, I know you might be fond of PayPal, but Nielsen likes to do things a bit differently. They’re not on the PayPal bandwagon but offer close alternatives like gift cards and physical items. So, even if you’re not a tech aficionado, I’d recommend giving Nielsen a go. It’s almost like finding money in your pocket—unexpected, but definitely a nice surprise!

20. Opinion Inn

Meet Opinion Inn, a market research platform that may seem young with its 2014 launch date, but it’s quickly built a robust reputation for being reliable and trustworthy.

Imagine walking into a party and being handed $10 just for showing up! That’s what Opinion Inn does—they welcome new users with a $10 sign-up bonus after completing their profile. Moreover, they aren’t stingy when it comes to survey payouts. You can expect to earn between $3 and $5 per survey on average.

There’s a catch, though—a withdrawal threshold of $25. But don’t fret – thanks to that generous sign-up bonus, you only need to earn an extra $15 from surveys for your first cash-out. That means with a little effort, you could be banking your earnings in just a few days. Now that’s an express route to cashville!

FAQs About The Best Survey Sites That Pay

Many of you have asked about the best survey sites that pay. Here are the FAQs to help you boost your online earnings.

1. What survey site pays instantly to PayPal?

Many survey sites offer PayPal payouts, though the speed of payment varies. From my own personal usage, Swagbucks and Branded Surveys are popular options known for their fast PayPal payouts. You could convert your earned points into cash and transfer it to your PayPal account.

Similarly, Survey Junkie also offers PayPal as a payment method, and their processing times are generally quick. However, remember to review the payment terms on each site, as “instant” can sometimes mean within 24 hours or upon reaching a certain threshold of earned points.

2. Are surveys for money legit?

Yes, there are actual sites that pay for surveys. I’ve checked and all the ones I mention are trustworthy and will reward you for your feedback. You can even take these surveys on your phone, no matter where you are. And if you’re looking for more ways to make some extra money, I’ve got a list of recommended side hustles.

3. Do you get paid immediately after each survey?

Survey sites have a set amount you need to reach before cashing out. So, you’ll keep doing surveys and collecting points. Once you hit that amount, you can get your money or rewards.

4. How much can you earn taking online surveys?

Your earnings from online surveys can differ depending on several factors: the frequency with which you take them, your individual details, and the total number you complete. On average, a survey may pay you between $0.50 to $10 for about 10-30 minutes of your time. Occasionally, there are special surveys that could offer as much as $50 per hour. Play your cards right, and you could accumulate a decent amount over the course of a year.

5. What kind of questions do survey sites ask?

I’ve been participating in surveys for more than a decade. Based on my personal experience, paid survey sites typically pose questions related to:

  • Personal Demographics: Information about your age, gender, education level, marital status, and number of children.
  • Consumer Habits: Your shopping behaviors, brand preferences, products you’ve recently bought, and services you use.
  • Lifestyle Choices: Activities you enjoy, places you travel to, foods you eat, and entertainment preferences.
  • Opinions on Products/Services: Feedback on items you’ve used or advertisem*nts you’ve seen.
  • General Opinions: Thoughts on societal issues, current events, or potential future products.

As you can see, companies use these surveys to gather insights about potential consumers. This helps them make informed decisions about their products, services, and marketing strategies, allowing them to enhance their products and tailor them to what you’re seeking.

Which online survey sites are legit?

⛔️ Now, here are some red flags and warning signs you should watch out for!

You may be eager to earn money doing surveys with other companies that aren’t mentioned in this post, but be careful!

Here are three warning signs you need to watch out for before signing up for other paid survey sites. You want to make sure that those are online surveys that pay cash (or at least compensate you in some way).

1. Survey websites that make big promises

Is the survey site making big promises?

Are they telling you that you can quit your job to earn a full-time income by taking paid surveys online?

Yes, you can earn extra money doing surveys but don’t expect to make millions (or even thousands per month) because you won’t.

Taking surveys for money is just enough to earn you some side income for additional spending or paying off a small amount of your debt. Again, it makes for an easy and quick side hustle.

Here is an alternative fun side hustle that could turn into a six-figure income…

2. Survey sites that aren’t free and charge a fee

Is the survey company asking you to pay a fee to join?

You should get paid for taking surveys, not the other way around!

Even if they ask for a small fee in exchange for unlimited earning opportunities, stay away from it because it’s likely a scam!

No matter how small the fee, you should never have to fork out a penny to join online survey sites. Based on the survey sites that I know, they are all FREE to join! All the ones in this post are the best free survey sites available to you.

3. Survey websites that appear in your inbox without signing up

Beware of some companies sending you e-mails about survey opportunities.

If you don’t remember signing up for the survey site, don’t click on it. Simply ignore the e-mail and unsubscribe from it!
